abstract = {Cupriavidus gilardii isolated from blood sample is a rare condition and is hard to identify via biochemical testing. Bloodstream infection (BSI) caused by this bacterium due to invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) has never been reported in the literature. We reported a 52-year-old systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) female with IPA. The lung capillaries were damaged by aspergillus which led to Cupriavidus gilardii circulated through the bloodstream. MALDI-TOF MS and 16S ribosomal RNA sequencing led to the identification of the bacillus. We highlighted the identification and treatment of Cupriavidus gilardii BSI.},
